Schein am Rhein is a small town in Switzerland, located 20 km. east of Schaffhausen, on the right bank of the Rhine and is connected to Lake Constance. It is known as one of the best preserved and authentic medieval towns in the country. The old houses have beautiful facades, richly decorated with frescoes and wood carvings. The small streets, which have preserved the spirit of the Middle Ages, as well as the flower-decorated houses and fountains, give the city a magical atmosphere.
