The church "St. Terrapon" was built on the site of a smaller church. The small church was served by the staff and patients of the local hospital. Today, the church is one of the biggest attractions in Mytilini. It attracts attention with its impressive shape and size and the fact that it is the largest Christian church in the capital. The architecture is a combination of various Western styles - baroque, rococo, neoclassicism. Gothic elements are also found, which make the cultural monument even more characteristic.
