Figueres is a city located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. With a population of 35,000 inhabitants, Figueres is the largest of the cities on the border with France, which has a developed communication infrastructure. It is the capital of the Alt Emporda district and is the commercial, economic, social and cultural center of the region. Salvador Dali was born here in 1904, he lived until 1989, a surrealist artist, who in 1974 in Figueres opened his most spectacular work - the Tatar-museum "Gala-Salvador Dali", one of the biggest tourist attractions in the environment.
