The city of Tremezzo is located in Northern Italy, on the western shore of Lake Como, Lombardy region. The population is about 1300 inhabitants.
Tremeso is one of the most popular tourist attractions near the lake, where there are many villas, the most famous of which is Villa Carlota from the 18th century, since Konrad Adenauer stayed in it.
Today, the town and its surroundings offer beautiful villas and spacious hotels built in the period from the 18th to the 19th century.
At this place, tourists can enjoy the beautiful coastal views combined with the high hills, which provides many opportunities for short hiking trips from flat terrain to the lake at the foot of the mountain peaks.
Worth visiting landmarks is the church of St. Maria, because of the holy statue of Madonna Nera there, and the ancient tower, next to which you can see the remains of medieval fortresses.
