The terrace of Count Brühl in Dresden, also known as the "Balcony of Europe", is the favorite place of both locals and tourists in the city. In the past, this place was a fortress, and now it is a pleasant place for a walk and rest with a wonderful view of the Elbe River. Like many other buildings and structures in the city, this one was destroyed during the bombings during the Second World War. All buildings of cultural and historical significance in Dresden have been renovated with the help and donations of the local population.
