Ротонда "Свети Ѓорги"

Софија, Бугарија

The Church of St. George is considered the oldest building in Sofia. It was built in the 4th century by the Romans. The surviving frescoes from the 10th-14th centuries are among the most important preserved examples of the Bulgarian medieval heritage. During the Ottoman rule, the building was converted into a mosque, today it is again an Orthodox church.
