
Rimini is a city in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, and is the capital of the province of the same name. It is located on the coast of the Adriatic Sea and has a population of 120,000 inhabitants. Rimini is perhaps the most famous resort on the Italian Adriatic Riviera.
The oldest preserved Roman arch in the world is also located in Rimini. It was built during the reign of Emperor Augustus. The Bridge of Tiberius, which is located in the city, marks the beginning of the Roman road Via Emilia.
Tourists are also interested in the old part of the city, with its preserved Renaissance buildings and narrow streets, the museum of acquaintances of the Italian director Frederico Fellini, the aviation museum, the Kako dolphinarium and the coastal lighthouse.
