Regensburg is the fourth largest city in the German state of Bavaria. It is the administrative center of the Upper Palatinate district. It is located at the confluence of the Regen River with the Danube.
Regensburg ranks among the most visited tourist destinations in Germany. The central historical part is included in the list of world historical heritage of UNESCO. It is known for its many old buildings, which are very well preserved. The most famous sights are the cathedral "St. Petar", KAmeniot bridge, the Old Municipality, the northern gate "Pretoria", etc.
