Piazza Ferrari is the main square in the center of Genoa. The most emblematic monument there is the fountain, which has been restored in recent years, along with the complete renovation of several buildings.
Some of the interesting sights in the city are located on the square, such as the Teatro Carlo Felice opera house, the Doge's Palace, the house of Christopher Columbus and others.
Here is also the headquarters of the Liguria region, the building of the Stock Exchange, built in 1912, as well as the palace of Raffaele Luigi de Ferrari, the port of Galliera, after whom the square is named.
