Eyre Square, also known as the 'John Kennedy Memorial Park' after his assassination in 1963, is a park in the inner city of Galway, Ireland.
The plot, which later became a square, was presented in 1710 by Edward Ear, after whom it was named. The place is popular with local tourists.
There is a bust of President John F. Kennedy, placed where he spoke to 100,000 people the fateful year before he was assassinated.
