Плоштад "Деле Ербе"

Верона, Италија

The "Dele Erbe" square is located on the site of the ancient Roman forum in the city. It is assumed that its name comes from the old market nearby. Here are also the most beautiful buildings in the Gothic style - the Trade House /1301/, which in the Middle Ages served as the residence of the guild and the city administration - the Town Hall, above which rises the 83-meter Lamberti Tower /1172/, also called the Tower with the bells.

This is one of the most picturesque squares in Italy and looked as if the world had not changed at all in the last 7-8 centuries. In the center of the square is the fountain of Madonna di Verona, erected in 1368. Today this fountain is a symbol of the city.
