Плоштад ''Венеција''

Рим, Италија

The square is the heart of Rome and derives its name from the "Venezia" palace, built in 1455 by order of Pope Paul II, who at that time was the Cardinal of Venice. He was very generous and built it a palace of such beauty that Christian Rome had never known. The building is typical of the early Renaissance, when the transition from castles to palaces took place.
