Pamukkale is a famous small Turkish tourist town and an incredible natural phenomenon in the town's surroundings. The Pamukkale hot springs spring from the underground of the Kal Dai mountain in Western Anatolia, Turkey. At a temperature of 37°C it emerges, boiling underground, and descends in protective cascades down a series of about a hundred terraces. The water jets hollowed out the terraces and formed warm pools of water in the depressions. Most are blindingly white, but some are yellowish and brown. Unfortunately, the environmental pollution affects the freshness of the colors.
