Pamporovo is a Bulgarian ski resort located at 1,650 m in the interior of the Rhodopes, at the foot of Snezhana peak. The main flow of tourists is in winter, due to the long winter season - often from December to April. The many hiking trails and mountain houses provide shelter for mountaineers in the summer. The resort is going through a lot of changes with the introduction of the Mechi Chal project, which aims to increase the capacity of the fifteen already built tracks along with those built in the vicinity of Perelik peak. The renovation of the lifts, tracks and lifts, as well as the completion of the large project, amounts to 250 million euros.
