
The museum is dedicated to the work and life of Alphonse Maria Mucha - Czech painter, theater artist, illustrator, designer and poster artist, who lived from 1860 to 1939. The museum is located in the baroque palace in the heart of Prague. Mucha is one of the most famous representatives of modernism, created over 100 drawings and posters for exhibitions around the world. One of his most famous posters is the poster for the premiere of the play "Gizmonde" with the participation of Sarah Bernard at the "Renaissance" theater in Paris.
