
The rose museum in the city of Kaznlak was opened as a temporary exhibition in the distant 1967 and grew into a museum in 1969. The object has no analogue in the world. Today, the Rose Museum abounds with more than 150,000 exhibits related to the rosebush and the traditions of rose production in Bulgaria. Rose production and, to an even greater extent, the trade in rose oil is turning into one of the most attractive attractions in the Kazanlak region. In the museums, tourists have the opportunity to buy rose oil, various rose oil products, cosmetics, rose liqueur and souvenirs related to the tradition and culture of rose production.
