The beautiful house with wooden beams and ornaments is located in the old part of Nuremberg, close to the fortress. It was built in 1420, and in 1509 it became the property of an acquaintance of the painter Albrecht Dürer, who lived in it until his death in 1528. Today, the house has been turned into a museum, which gives a good idea of the way and environment in which he lived the great creator. In the studio you can see the traditional techniques used by Dürer and applied by contemporary painters.
