
Killarney is a town in the south-western part of Ireland, County Kerry in the province of Manstar. It is located on the northern shore of Loch Linn, which is part of the Killarney National Park. Architectural landmarks include St. Mary's Cathedral and Ross Castle. It is located 32 km. south of the administrative center of County Tralee. There is a railway station, which was put into use on July 15, 1853. Its population is about 13,500 inhabitants.
