Ерменија
Zorats Karer is an archaeological site located near the city of Sisyan in Armenia. It is located on a mountain plateau at an altitude of 1,700 m and extends over almost 7 hectares of land on the left bank of the Dar river canyon.
The ancient monument represents raised stone blocks arranged in a circle. The complex has been studied for decades, but the exact year of formation is still unclear.
It is believed that the ancient metropolis is an ancient cemetery, and the rounded shape represents a cyclical journey of the soul between death and rebirth.
