Замокот "Линч"

Lynch Castle was home to one of the most powerful families in Galway. This four-story, limestone building is a fine example of the Irish Gothic style. The date of completion of the castle is unknown, but many features indicate that it is from the late 15th or early 16th century. In 1808, a large part was completed and the building, which was changed countless times over the years. The purpose of the construction was protection against attacks.
