One of the most attractive natural treasures of the city is the bay of "La Concha" or "The Clam", with its characteristic horseshoe shape and the wonderful beach. In its center is the islet of Santa Clara. From one side rises the hill of Igeldo, and from the other - the hill of Urgul, each of which is decorated with sculptures by Eduardo Chillida (1924-2002), a world-renowned artist born and died in Donostia, a museum with his works is located in Ernani, a village 9 km from Donostia.
The Urumeya River also passes through San Sebastián, which divides it from the old city into two parts, before it flows into the Cantabrian Sea.
