Унгарија
Lake Balaton is the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe, located in Central Hungary, 80 km. southwest of Budapest. Its maximum depth is 11 meters and its origin is tectonic. It is often called the "sea" of Hungary. In summer, the water reaches a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, and its waters are shallow, making it suitable for family vacations. It is surrounded by vineyards, volcanic mountains, balneological resorts and a national park. In the northern part there are a number of resorts, and on the southern coast there are beach clubs and artificial sandy beaches. In winter, they can go ice skating on it.
