The Pitti Palace was designed in the mid-15th century by Brunelski, commissioned by the wealthy Florentine merchant Luca Pitti. In 1550, the building was bought by the Medici family. Later they reconstructed and expanded it from a palace and turned it into their main residence. At the moment, the palace is the largest museum complex in Florence, located on an area of 32,000 square meters. In it you can hear the priceless collection of Medici treasures. Here you can also see the wonderful Boboli Gardens, which represent the classic Italian gardens of the 16th and 17th centuries, which extend over the nearby hill, from which a wonderful view of Florence can be seen.
