Швејцарија
Водопадите Трумелбах се наоѓаат на Швајцарските Алпи, на територијата на општина Лаутербрунен. Тие претставуваат серија од 10 каскади, кои внатре преминуваат во планинскиот масив и ги собират водите од топечкиот снег од врвовите на Ајгер (3970 м), Монх (4099 м) и Јунгфрау (4158 м), а плоштината на сливот изнесува 24 км.кв. До 1877 г. сите водопади, со уклучок на најдолниот, биле скриени и недостапни во внатрешноста на планината. Затоа и името на водопадите опишува не оптичка, туку акустична претстава - Trümmel = Trommel, кое значи „барабан“.
In different seasons, the amount of water changes significantly: from December to March, a small stream flows under the ice "bumper", during the icy nights in April and October, only a few tens of liters flow per second, while during the melting of the snow from April to June and melting glaciers from June to September flow up to 20,000 liters per second through the rocks with a thunderous sound and thus Trummelbach turns into a river.
In the period 1877 - 1886, rocks and bridges were built in the tunnels of the lowest waterfalls. In 1913, a tunnel cable car was built to the seventh waterfall, and the access to the three highest waterfalls is a cliff with a gallery and a place to watch, which was completed in 1986.
