"Promenade des Angles" - The Promenade des Anglais was built in 1820 for afternoon walks by the numerous Englishmen. Even the funds for its construction were collected by the rich English tourists themselves, who spent the winter months here in the early 19th century. The promenade is located along the sea coast, and several of the most prestigious hotels on the French Riviera have been built along it. The "Mediterranean Palace" hotel, built in 1929, with a beautiful facade in the art deco style, and the "Negresko" hotel from 1912 in the white era style, are the most expensive among them.
