Картахена, Шпанија
The Ancient Theater of Cartagena is located in the center of the city, built between the 5th and 1st centuries BC. In the past, the performances and gladiator fights here were watched by 6,000 spectators. Tatatrot was discovered in 1988 by archaeological excavations by students from the University of Murcia. The object was registered in the cultural heritage of Spain in 1999. Nowadays, this is one of the symbols of the city, a candidate for a UNESCO world cultural heritage site.
