
Alberobello is the capital of trulli, where you will literally be transported to the world of children's fairy tales. The dilapidated specific buildings that inherited the prehistoric building tradition. They consist of a cylindrical base with walls up to 1 meter thick and a conical roof made of limestone slabs in several layers.
Although they were built without supports, they have survived to this day. The most impressive is the Territorio city museum, which is made up of 10 trulli united into one. The town's cathedral is dedicated to Saints Cosmas and Damian and featured a neoclassical facade from the 18th century. Near the main square is the church "Santa Lucia" from the beginning of the 19th century. Alberobello also has other smaller museums, the most interesting of which are the Wine Museum and the Oil Museum.
