Uganda

Uganda is a country in East Africa, bordered by Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. It has a population of about 47 million people, with Kampala as its capital and largest city. Other major cities include Entebbe (home to the international airport), Jinja, and Mbarara. English is the official language, and Swahili is a second official language spoken in some regions. The most interesting places to visit include the national parks Bwindi, Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth, Lake Mburo, Kibale, Semliki, the Rwenzori Mountains, the Moon Mountains, Kidepo Valley, and Mount Elgon, along with 13 nature reserves, 12 wildlife reserves, Lake Victoria, and the Nile River.
