Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park

Мадагаскар

Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park is a natural wonder of Madagascar, renowned for its unique rock formations – the "tsingy", which are limestone karst plateaus shaped by erosion. These elongated stone "forests" are home to numerous endemic species inhabiting the various ecosystems within the rocks. The park is divided into Grand Tsingy and Petit Tsingy, with the local name "tsingy" meaning "where one cannot walk barefoot", hinting at the steep and rugged nature of the terrain.
