Lake Iseo, based in Lombardy, is divided into two shores: the Brescia and the Bergamo, Northern Italy. The lake is neighbored by very high mountains of glacial origins. In some stretches of the lake, between Riva di Solto and Castro, the mountain drops straight into the water.
Since 2018 the northern part of the lake has been part of the UNESCO biosphere reserve of the “Valle Camonica – Alto Sebino.”
