Доjран, Северна Македонија
Once Dojran was a town in Macedonia, located at the southwestern coast of the lake Dojran. It was destroyed in the First World War. Today the name Dojran is used for three village: Star Dojran, Nov Dojran and Dojran. Nowadays this area is a very beautiful and calm place, perfect for lake, cultural and archaelogical tourism. The settlements by the lake turned into resorts that offer relax among the natural beauties. There are different sights - remains of cathedral ''St Ilija'', Turkish clock tower, big hammam, Turkish fountain, monastery complex "St Partenii Zografski''.
